Free Shipping Stuff !

I bet one of the reasons to NOT sell on ebay is the costs of tape, wraping paper, boxes and so on... well it's not that complicated! I get most of my boxes from local shops, that simple throw them away... They are actually happy I get rid of these boxes at my own expense... I get all I can and then some of them ill be used for sure. Another thing I noticed, more I am selling, more freebies I recieve from ebay.
They do it for promotion - but it works out for me ! Ebay sent me measuring tape, enveloppes, carboard boxes and many other things as a sign of appreciation of doing business together!

I am also aware that US Post and many other companies will provide you with FREE packaging material - as long as you do business with them.

Another great tip on making more money!

A serious trick to making LOTS of $$$$$

sponsored by: Ebay Powerseller Secret!

Featured listing! Yes it is expensive but it works.
Once I spent over 100$ to list one single item.
The item sold for 120$ and I didn't make any profit, but this gesture boosted up
my other items' sales. If you decide to feature list your item, make sure the item is in demand and will sell at least for the amount of money it costs you to list it.
Make sure that your other items are referred in the featured item's description (using Auctive tool or eBay's cross-promotion).

Another trick revealed.

Hardware to Help Ebay Business

sponsored by: Ebay Powerseller Secret!

Invest in a digital camera! You could get those for as low as 20$ now.
It is the quickest and most effective way o enhance your listing.
I, myself often pass on the auctions and listing that don't have a photo.
The visual is very important! People JUMP on listings with an image
and don't even bother reading the title of those item that doesn't have a picture.

Using sites like photobucket.com will allow you posting multiple photos in your eBay auction at no extra fees.

Garage Sale - Great Ebay Found

As I told you in previous post, garage sale hunting is not really for me.
However, I was walking my dog, and I noticed a little garage sale on a street near by. So I stopped by. I saw these cute little butterfly figurines and I thought right away I could sell them on ebay for 2-3$ each. All in all there were 15 of them and the lady wanted 1$ each, but she finally agreed to sell them all together for 10$.

After 10 minute google and ebay research I found out I just purchased a collection called "The Butterflies of the World by Franklin Mint". Each of these butterflies sells for around 10$ on ebay, the whole collection is worth 200$.

200$ collection bought for 10$ - maybe garage sales ARE for me after all.

What to sell on eBay (part 2)

sponsored by : Ebay selling machine!

Couple of my friends only sell old/antique/rare/broken/ugly items... Where do they buy them? Garage sales and flea markets. They are some kind of junk treasure hunters.
To be honest - this is not for me. I just don't like losing my time, going from one garage sale to another. Also you can't concentrate on one single product... but hey - they know their stuff, so why not?

I've seen them buy things for 20$ and sell them on ebay for 5000$ !!! Let it be stamps, old photo cameras, LPs, drawings, toys, watches...etc.

One of my friends brings his palm phone with Internet access, and before buying an "antique" he does an ebay research...

Another great thing about selling the "garage sale" items, is that most of the people sell you 1000$ items for 10 bucks because they have no idea of what it is really worth. So if You like garage sales, antiques and rare items - try it out!

When to List your Item

sponsored by: Ebay Affiliate!

...I found that 7 days auctions are the best, it gives just enough time for enough people to notice your item and possibly bid on it. If you are selling an expensive object - 10 days auction might work better - more people will see it, don't forget that a 10 days auction will cost more then a regular 7 days auction (ebay fees).

So the best time for your item to be sold is on a Sunday evening. Let's say 7-10pm, that's when most ebauyers are online. Students are done with their homework, adults are back home from a week-end trip at their parents...
Friday evening and Saturday evening most people go out, so they won't be on ebay.
During daytime, most people are at work or school and usually don't have access to ebay. It all happens on SUNDAY.

Take note that North America has several time zones, so an auction ending at 10pm in Cali means passed midnight in NY.

Your auction should end on a Sunday 7pm-10pm - however, that works best for me.
Try it out!

Count Your Pennies - it pays!

sponsored by : Ebay selling machine!

Keep track of expenses.
The difference in listing fees between starting an item at $9.99
and at $10.00 is 25 cents.
That adds up to $25 if you're listing 100 items per week.
EBAY store charges 5 cents per listing, you might consider it.
Also pay attention to hidden costs like shipping supplies and postage.

Hot Ebay Items

sponsored by: Ebay Affiliate!

You still didn't decide what to sell on eBay?
The easiest way to go around selling items on ebay is
concentrating on a precise product or group of products.
By doing this you will learn a lot about the product you are
selling, you will be able to write a good description and answer
all the question.

Even better - sell HOT POPULAR eBay items. The problem with this strategy is
you will have to change your inventory every week or month.
Hot Items change quickly.
To know what Ebay's hot items are, click HERE!

This link, free for all is also sold in e-books for 2$-5$, I hope you enjoy
the free information.

Make Money from Misspelled Ebay Items *scam*

sponsored by : Ebay selling machine!

I am pretty sure you have seen ebooks with this exact or similar title:
"Make Money from Misspelled Ebay Items".

Yes, you can do that, but you don't need to spend extra 5,10,15$ for this information.
I will reveal it you for free !

So what is it all about?

The sellers misspells a title while listing his item.
Instead of PRADA he types in PARDA, instead of Volkswagen he types Volskvagen insted of
Adidas he types Abidas... in these cases, the chances are buyer will not find the item.
The item will not be sold. Imagine someone lists a pair of Brand NEW Adidas shoes for 0.99$ no reserve... the value of the shoes is over 100$. Now imagine the title is misspelled, you are the only one who finds the item, you buy the shoes and resell them 2 weeks later for 100$ - you are 99,01$ in profit... THAT IS THE SECRET.

Now let's be realistic, you will not find many of these... You will not become a bilionnaire off of that, however, you could try.

There is a free tool that helps you looking for these MISSPELLED Items :

FatFingers

Enjoy and I hope you didn't give away any money for this FREE information.

Ebay Payment Methods

sponsored by: Ebay Affiliate!

How do you get paid on ebay?
... If you ever wondered why your item didn't sell, did you verify what kind of payment method you chose? I highly recommend PayPal as the first method. More and more people use paypal for electronic funds transfer. Either directly from your checking account or from a credit card - it makes the payment easy, fast and secure.
Sign up for PayPal here:

Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.

If you're a seller, you will be charged a very small fee for the money transfered to you by buyer, buyer does not pay fees. There are no set-up or monthly fees with PayPal. You could also use ESCROW service. Ebay recommends escrow.com, I never tried it though. It is similar to Paypal. The problem is the number of fake/scam escrow sites, which will take your money or/and your personal information and never transfer any money.

Western Union, MoneyGram is also an option. Although NOT SECURE and if you BUY an item and pay by these methods - seller might not send you the item. EBay will not reimburse you, since they have no way of verifying.

I also suggest accepting Money Orders, Certified Checks... make a not that the item will only be sent when the check clears.

If you feel comfortable with meeting strangers, you could also offer local pick-up with hard cash.

Item description - PICTURES (Images)

sponsored by : Ebay selling machine!

Successfully selling an item on ebay might also depend on the actual picture of the item. Please, take your time, take as many photos as you can (4-6 usually is great)
Then add the pictures to your listing.

HOWEVER, do not use eBay for every picture added, this will cost you extra.
Create a free account on www.photobucket.com or any other free picture hosting site, upload your image there, and they will provide you with an html code.
Paste this code onto your item listing or webpage - and you are set to go.
This costs you 0.00$.

Selling Domain Names on Ebay

sponsored by: Ebay Affiliate!

...Yes people do it.
No site attached, simply .com for sale (or .net, or .info...)
You could do it as well - but it's not as easy as it seems.
Some domains go for 500 000$ some go for 0$...
You need a catchy domain, easy to remember, or something original,
something ineteresting.

However, selling a domain is a very complicated process.
Check these sites :

www.fcukingvideos.com - Great Domain for Adult Industry

www.repl1ca.com - Great domain for selling REPLICA products.

www.GiveMeYourPenny.com - could be a business, finance, money great domain.

www.RentBlue-Ray.com - Great for emerging BLU-RAY Disk industry !

These are all for sale, and they will sell.

Item Description

sponsored by : Ebay selling machine!

When you describe your ebay item, be brief.
Do not try to make the item look (sound) better
by adding thousands od adjectives, buyers do not like to read.

Do not use negative forms.

Instead of saying : Item is not broken, say Item is working (in good condition).
People like positive things, phrases and thoughts.

Ebay Shipping Fees

I've been browsing eBay today, and noticed something very interesting with shipping charges on eBay. Sometimes, the same item is shipped for a very different price, depending on the user. This could be bad or good. If you charge 20$ shipping for an item that costs you 3$ to ship - buyer will not be happy, and might leave you neutral or even negative feed back. Do not over charge on shipping fees ! Some buyer will not even consider bidding on your item because of shipping fees being very high.

Before listing an item, I check the fees on the local post company/service (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx...etc) website then I add 0.5$ (enveloppe, tape). I also offer different shipping methods, regular, air, priority and so on, of course the fee varies for each of these methods.

Whatever it is you can get it on eBay!

If you are scared of losing money on shipping and do not trust the online shipping calculators, please drop by your local post office, bring the item with you and ask how much they charge to ship it. Don't forget to request the fee for additional services like insurance. If you will be sending a Playstation or something expensive, getting an insurance for couple of bucks may be very worthy.

I will repeat once more, DO NOT OVER CHARGE.

If you sell ebooks, desktop wallpapers or any other e-products, don't charge for shipping - you know it's free, so does the buyer. eBay offers a digital delivery shipping, this means the buyer recieves a website link where he(she) could download the item, you could also e-mail this info or the item to the buyer. If you will do it by e-mail, try setting up an automated delivery system or make sure you e-mail the item ASAP! Buyer will not be happy waiting an eternity for an ebook, that he is very curious to read at this exact moment.

Ebay Feed back

I am sure you already noticed that all
Sucessefull eBay Sellers and Stores have great feed back...
Most importantly, lots of feed back.
Of course, this ads credibility to the store or seller.
More and better of a feedback you have - more satisfied
are your eBay buyers. So how do you get this feedback?
Selling 1$ audio tapes? 2$ e-books ? Something else on your mind?

Lack of feed back will limit your selling capabilities...
Well, you do not have to sell to get feed back !!!

So to get a 100 feed back, you need to purchase 100 items.
It scares you? You don't want to spend lots of money?
Well you don't have to ! It will cost you from 1 to 2 dollars for
100 ebay items...
Click here to buy 0.01$ items !
That's it !
Can it be easier?

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure each item is sold buy a different user, because if you
buy 10 items from the same user, he will leave you 10 feed back but ebay considers it as 1, because it's from the same seller.

So I just revealed how to get 100 feed back for under 2$ price!

What to Sell on EBAY !

sponsored by: Ebay Affiliate!

Most of eBay users and businesses will sell hot items! Because they can charge a lot, and they are sure the item will sell. As an example, they sell 600$ Gucci handbags for 100$. Brand names like prada, gucci, chanel, dior, juicy, D&G, rolex are one of the hottest sales on eBay. Other hot items include technology; iPod, Playstation3, XBox 360, iPhone, bluetooth, DVD and so on. These items sell well because they are sold for a low price, if you compare to 5th Ave boutiques in NYC...

Authentic Diesel Jeans - 35$ instead of 250$!

Playstation 3 - 430$ instead of 920!

But the problem most sellers or/and future sellers are asking themselves where to get these products for DIRT CHEAP ? Well, this is not a hard task... You could browse google or yahoo and find many t-shirts and caps for sale "CHEAP" but you will soon notice that the prices are most of the time even higher then on eBay. Another thing to worry about: FAKES and REPLICAS.

You could visit this site : www.repl1ca.com to see all the replicas of brand names. Please, do not buy these items and re-sell them on eBay. If you do, you might get banned or even end up in court. I don't know the exact laws on selling illegal copies and replicas, but I do know it is AGAINT eBay's policy, so why risk it?

However, to my knowledge, the easiest and quickest way to find VERY CHEAP products for sale is simply buying one of these wholesale and dropshipping guides:

(AUTHENTIC Versace glasses - 50$ instead of 400$, PS3 400$ instead of 700$...)

You will be amazed how low of a price wholesalers will give you, in most of the cases it is almost impossible to find this wholesale products on the internet. Do not miss your chance! Buy the guide, but do not buy the products ... yet. You still have to find what sells well.

Ebay Selling

sponsored by: Ebay Affiliate!

So you've decided to sell on eBay ?
Congratulations. But where do you start?
First of all sign up to eBay - it's free. Here is the link to eBay!
Once you have created an accont, I suggest you to get comfortable with it.
Search for different items, try to figure the difference why the same items sells for 5$ on Tuesday and for 55$ on Friday. Go to completed listings, see what sells, what doesn't.
I also recommend buying an item or two - just to get the feel of the whole eBay process.

However, you must also sell an item or two, to help you understand the basics of ebay.
If you don't know what to sell, don't panic! Look around your house, you have plenty of
eBay worthy items and object. An old CD player, heaphones, VHS tapes, used book,
pair of pants, a CD you no longer listen to, an old license plate, used tools... anything you no longer use or want, it will most likely sell.
